Pain in the....

School for me is Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays is a longer day for me because I not only have two lectures but also a lab. Believe it or not the lab is actually longer than either of my lectures. Luckily the instructor (for the lab) is pretty good about only keeping us in the class for only as long as necessary. The stools in the Lab are a form of torture in my opinion. They are small, mostly metal and have no back support what so ever. I think this weekend I may have to go shopping for one of those pillows that goes on a round stool to take with me to class from now on. Coming home from school every tuesday barely able to walk sucks!!!

The boys are getting use to mom coming home and not getting out of bed (I spend the afternoon turning the heating pad on/off/on/off). So it's getting easier in that aspect - but it doesn't stop the pain! And then today while laying on the heating pad - perfectly still, out of no where - WHAM! A lovely jolt of sciatic pain! Which that only means that some little turkey was dancing on the nerve... and there is nothing I can do about that :( . Add to that - about a whopping 30 seconds later - a charlie horse in the calf of my other leg. Pretty much ensuring I wasn't going ANYWHERE till the pain stopped. Some days - pregnancy sucks.

Pains of another kind
Speaking of school, there is always atleast ONE person in a class like Speech that feels that they are the star of the class. Lately those are the ones who just seem to grate on my nerves the most. We have one, who should have kept her hair color the original color it was when we started the class - it fit her much better then her current color choice. She saw it her "duty" to inform the speech instructor which former student examples he could and couldn't use - because they where emotion evoking.

HELLO! The types of speeches he was talking about are supposed to evoke some sort of emotion! Also - he's the instructor isn't it HIS job to decide what are relevant and good examples of what is relevant and what isn't?! Pretty much ever time she opened her mouth, I wanted to block out her voice but had no luck doing it. arrrrgggg some peoples kids!

Here comes some more unsolicited advice...when the charlie horses hit, grab the toes on the foot attached to the charlie horse and PULL as hard as you can stand toward you. If you stretch like that for a while it SHOULD go away quicker. *end unsolicited advice*
