Okay so I'm sitting here chuckling to myself - Jr is asleep in bed (as is everyone else in this house except for me) - and I'm sitting here in the dark about to start a blog about my very first personal training session at the gym and oh I should sooo be sleeping! And not only that but once agian - I'm borrowing song titles!
Today I had a fitness assessment with a personal trainer at the gym. (The Gym I joined when I moved home to California is the same one that my mother in law (Jr's Grandma Jane) as well as my brother both work out at. And ofcourse because it's in the same town that I grew up in, I've run into a few other people that I knew. But anyways - I'm so easily distracted- along with my membership to the gym I also got a free personal training session with one of the trainers at the gym. I have to say that I kind of had this horrible experiance in mind as to what this was going to be like and I can happily report - Ms. Kelly was NOT the mean, drill instructor I feared her to be! (and in her defense my mother in law told me I would like her). She explained everything about the work out that she gave me very throughly and gave me some ideas for cardio that I could do (most of which I was already doing) and instead of being a drill instructor about the whole thing she was just pleasantly motivating. (Who doesn't like being told that with a little direction your going to be a lean mean hot look'n mama?!?! - okay so I totally embellished on that last part but you get my drift. ;)
Later this week Jr's 6 month old post - yes I know I'm already a week late - but I'm waiting for something first ;)
