Chris Front:
Chris picked his dad up in San Antonio late Thursday night/early Friday morning and they drove to Blythe CA yesterday. Today they are finishing the drive to Long Beach to my Papa's house. Pictures of what he is picking up when he gets back! Tomorrow he also picks up my niece and nephew who will be spending a month with us this summer. It's kind of an annual tradition that one of the kids comes out for a month. This year my niece is coming back with my nephew (who is the youngest) so he has someone to make sure he makes his flight when they change planes on the way home. Also, due to Chris' impending deployment last year - Megan (niece) only got a week out here last year, so this time she gets the full she-bang!
Junior Front:
He's getting bigger! We had our 34 week appointment this past Wensday, and he was measuring 37 weeks and is "bigger then normal - but not THAT much bigger" according to Dr. G. He is still head down and doing well. His heart rate was 150 and Dr. G got a taste of JUST HOW ACTIVE this kid is. He kept squirming and kicking while Dr. G was trying to get his heart rate, and doing the physical part of the exam (feeling the belly ect). We also had another fFN test due to increased pressure and some other PTL (pre term labor) symptoms. It's negative!! And when Chris left Thursday night he made sure to tell Junior to stay where he is till Daddy gets home! So far so good there....
Me Front:
I am an insomniac when Chris is gone. Thursday night/Friday morning I didn't fall asleep untill after 1 am sometime. And then woke up yesterday morning at 530am (courtesy of my son) and then couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up - did my normal online routine and dang it if MSN.com didn't have something about yesterday being National Donut day... so you can imagine what I wanted for breakfast. So I went and got me some Krispy Kreme ;). Other than that, me and the boys spent the day relaxing. We did nothing all day long. Well I worked on a scrapbook I've been putting off for the past 8 years and have pretty much filled it up. So I will most likely go get some more pages for it so that I can finish it off completely. Chris should be back with the kids ect sometime Monday or Tuesday, so today I decided I'm going to clean the downstairs. I've already done the kitchen - just need to clean up the dining room so I can sweep & mop. YES for those of you who are going to blast me for being on modified bedrest I am doing it slowly - I've been up for a few hours. So there. I'm sure starting next week, there will be fun-filled misadventures with the kids here.... so stay tuned!

Rule breaker! Chores AND babysitting kids for a month while you're supposed to be on bed rest - BAD GIRL!
It's not so much babysitting - they are 14 & 12 (respectively) as it is a chance to visit their Aunt & Uncle. We usually only get to see them once a year so this is nice for us to get some one on one time w/ them. Lets just hope Jr doesn't come TOO early!
Did you know that Krispy Kreams started in Akron, OH? Yup, those tasty little treats started in OHIO. :)
And I would blast you for not being a good pregnant woman and following your bed rest orders, but that would make me a hypocrit. So I won't. :)
