So today prior to going grocery shopping here at the Commisary, Chris and I went to McDonalds for a "light" breakfast. Unfortunately they had stopped serving breakfast about twenty minutes prior to our arriving. (Thanks alot Chris!) So we settled for lunch.
As we were eating, good 'ol Mc D's was starting to fill up due to the Army Depot workers going on lunch. We had kind of been watching this group of little leaguers interacting with a little girl and her little brother while mom was trying to order their lunch. Well, as Dad walked in, the little boy (who was maybe two) got excited and pulled the fire alarm that was right above the seat he was standing in. Understandably the parents became embarassed (especially the mom), the little boy started crying (those alarms are scary to most little kids) and everyone else tried not to laugh.
We continued eating our lunch (with Junior trying to climb into my spine to get away from the loud screech), and trying not to laugh as the mom is just getting more and more embarassed. She got upset that the management at the Mc D's couldn't turn the fire alarm off and we had to wait for the Fire Dept.
All in all it was pretty funny. Embarassing, but funny. And truth be told we've all probably done something similar at one point in our lives, I know when telling my mom about our experiance this morning, she told me I had my own @ 15 mos old and I probably topped the embarassment that the mom today felt for my mom.
