28 Weeks!!

So today is a huge milestone for Jr.

According to my pregnancy book (Pregnancy & Childbirth by Tracie Hotchner) :

28th week (End of 7th month :
If born prematurely now, baby could live in-dependently; lungs (essential for living out-side womb) are reaching maturity, but a premature newborn might need medical help to breathe and maintain body temperature; a boy's testicles descend into scrotum; puts on more than a pound this month, for a total weight of 2lbs., 4oz.

The fact that should anything happen, (which we don't want it to to - cook baby cook!) that Jr's lungs are mature enough that he'd fair okay outside is a huge sigh of relief for mom! Given, also, that we have made it this far this time is also a huge sigh of relief as well. So keep kicking me in the side and headbutting my bladder little man - (despite the fact I tell you to stop it lol) because it just means your growing like your supposed to!!
