Honestly have you ever found that something happened that was just sooo funny you couldn't find the words to retell it? Aside from just describing the action - I am in that paticular place right now!
I'm sure I've discussed my inlaws preferance for hot tubbing "all naturale" - when home alone. There is a constant banter about the house when Jr and I are up in the morning intime to get in the hot tub with them - thus requiring them to put swim suits on. Jr is the only one "permitted" to "big tub" it in the buff with everyone in the tub. After this morning that may not be the case anymore! Jr's Papa had already left for work when Grandma J and I decided to get in the hot tub. After getting two cups of coffee ready and the top pulled off the hot tub we (all 3 of us, Grandma J, Jr and me) settled in for a nice soak. After being in the hot tub for about 20 minutes (maybe a little over a half hour) I pointed to something floating in the tub and asked my mother-in-law in quite a horrorfied voice, "WHAT is THAT?!" After both of our suspsicions where confirmed, some much needed splashing the offending floater out of the tub, plus attempting to get the remnants out, we all got out and headed immediately for a shower. It's funny now, at 11:55pm notsomuch at 830am this morning when this took place. (The hot tub has subsequently been drained, cleaned and refilled for those of you who where worried about it).
After showering off post hot tub offense, Jr and I left for our WIC meeting... yeah that's another post entirely - lets just say we had a not-so-helpful class where the lady sat us in a room w/ other moms & babies who where relatively the same age (7-12mos old) and told us to watch a video. (whoo hoo - can you feel my excitement?) Post video watching there was a q&a session where (this is where I need to write a seperate post) I attempted to not tell the lady from the WIC office she was in the wrong profession.
On to happier things - we then met up with my mom (Jr's Nana) so she could do a pre-vacation eyebrow etc wax job for me, then off to lunch at Taco Tree. Jr (the little piggy that he is) ate an entire jar of mixed fruit & yogurt and part of a bean burrito. He had a wonderful time smiling at all the other patron's of the resturant. Which was good because he took a good nap in his stroller while I sat as a model for my mom as she did a demonstration on hair cuts for her work. (got my pre-vacation haircut out of the way at the same time and for free! :) )
After Nona was done cutting my hair, Jr and I trekked across the parking lot to Best Buy to get a new filter for my camera (took some great pictures this past weekend in Reno - some would have been better if I had used the right filter - will post them sometime soon). During this little side trip, Jr let out a belch that would have rivaled one of his dad's or quite possibly one of his uncle's then proceeded to throw up on me. So I got to finish making my purchase and trekk back across the parking lot with puke on my shoulder. It was incredibly disgusting and semi humiliating. (Humiliating because as luck would have it I was actually dressed nice-er today!)
And all afternoon he's been a clingy, whiney little guy like he doesn't feel good. :( I am hoping after some much needed sleep tonight he'll be a happy guy tomorrow!
