Where have I been? We've been traveling! We left last Thursday to attend Cousin Greg's graduation for Boot Camp for the US Navy. (We are very proud of him!)
This means, Jr went on his first airplane ride! He did wonderfully on the way up there, nursing during take off, and because we rode a cold front from Corpus to Chicago, he slept most of the time it was bumpy, then nursing agian while decending. He also slept through Greg's Graduation untill everyone started screaming as the different divisions where introduced. Overall, he was the best little traveler we could have hoped for!
We got to spend the weekend with Greg and the rest of the family that where there - it was a mini family reunion and we thank Greg for that! :) Jr loved all the attention that was lavished on him - so much so that we are still in the "love me" mode... meaning he wants to be held 24/7.
While in Chicago, the whole family went to the Chicago Field Museum. It was a great experiance (I will post pictures later of Chris carrying Jr around). I think Grandpa could have used a few more days to roam around ;). On Sunday, Aunt Julie, Uncle Art, and Greg's girlfriend Sara all had to leave to fly back to Baltimore and Great Grandpa & Grandma left to fly back to the Ranch. So after a nice breakfast at Denny's, we got Greg to ourselves for the rest of the day.
We treated him to his first post-bootcamp movie - Quantum of Solace. Even Jr enjoyed the movie! I kid you not - my 4 month old son sat there and watched 90% of the movie!
Overall it was a great weekend - we loved getting to see our family! There will be a photo blog later ;)
