This And That

Friends... Oh I love them! :)

The whole reason that I started this blog was because I was tired of blogging on myspace and then having to copy and paste the entire blog into an email to share it with my non-myspace friends. It's also nice to have a place to post a picture with an explination, and be able to share it with family and not have it take forever to download. (Hey not all my family is caught up to broadband yet ;) - but we are working on it!)

Yesterday given, my subject, I couldn't NOT send it to a couple of those friends, one being Ms. Jean. I love getting emails from her! She has become kind of an "adopted" Grandma for Jr. And it's nice to hear that I crack someone up, because I swear since I got pregnant my sense of humor went out the window! :) (Both of Chris parents did nothing but laugh at yesterday's topic too by the way.)

Fur-babies... It's a Love/ Hate Relationship sometimes.
So I woke up last night around 1am and had to come downstairs to get something to drink. (because someone wouldn't wake up and come down and get it for me!!!) So I let the boys out too. This ment I had to go in Jr's room where our guest bed is, and wake Sox up - otherwise he won't get up for me. Well after finally making it back upstairs about 20-25 minutes later, I tried unsuccessfully to get comfortable to go back to sleep.

At 2am, I was greated with a large object jumping up on the bed. (the boys aren't allowed on the new bed, due to it's height, and the fact I have a hard enough time getting comfortable - plus I don't really want them on the bed when Jr comes.) Calvin had un-ceremoniously jumped up on the bed next to my feet and laid down. He was promptly removed. At 220am, I was greeted with a cold nose in the face. (he's lucky I hadn't managed to fall back asleep yet) So I petted my son and told him to go lay down. So he did, right there. Normally Cal would lay on his dog bed, at the end of ours. I tried to go back to sleep. No dice. 230am I got another cold nose. So I took my two pillows and went and laid on the guest bed w/ Sox thinking Calvin just wanted to be with Mom. Calvin STILL wouldn't settle down!

After putting up with Calvin being restless, and him just in general acting weird - I woke up Chris. He took Calvin back downstairs and even went outside and sat on the back porch with him for a little bit. Calvin just sat there. So they came back inside, and Chris came back to bed. Calvin didn't but me the rest of the night. But ofcourse now that I think about it, I think this influenced the rest of my night (didn't sleep peacefully) because I was worried something was wrong with him. As Chris affectionately put it... he was trying to get us ready for what is to come....
