A Trip to The Beach
Chris worked on his darn trailer this afternoon, welding some ramps for it so that he'll be able to load the car on it that he'll be picking up in June. After finishing up, we went to return it to the place we are temporarily storing it afterwards we took the boys to the beach. Normally Calvin LOVES the water. After about 10 minutes of avoiding the water, Calvin gets in the water only up to his paws. Despite cries from Chris to get out of the water, Calvin stepped in and then walked out. Chris thought he was safe from having to give the boys a bath tonight, but alas, it was not to be. About 5 minutes later, Calvin went trapesing back into the water and looked Chris right in the eye and walked in till he was pretty much completely in. He had a look of "HA HA screw you Dad!" All I could do is laugh, and laughed pretty hard. So hard, I almost peed myself. Literally.
He is quite the little turkey sometimes. (About 20 minutes later or so, Sox joined him.)
So Chris still ended up having to give the boys a bath - which by the way sometimes equals trying to get 2 toddlers into the tub. One will go in the bathroom and the other will run downstairs - meaning he had to chase him. This time, it was Sox's turn to "turn tail and run" - down the stairs. I could hear Chris trying to stop him upstairs ( I think a diving attempt was made to grab a collar - but he missed). So needless to say - both the boys got a big rasberry in on their dad today!
