Music - This Week's Playlist

Faithfully- Journey: This was the song that Chris and I danced to at our wedding. At the time I didn't think it was an appropriate song (who thinks your going to be on the road alot when you first get married @ 18&19?) but it's become VERY appropriate for this Navy Life. Plus Junior danced like crazy when it was on the other night and Chris was singing along ;) Now how can you beat that?!?

Away From the Sun (Acoustic Version) - 3 Doors Down: A song that I listened to alot during Chris' first deployment overseas. Also while he was stationed in Pensacola before I joined him there. I like the Acoustic version alot. Never heard it before putting this playlist together, but it works ;).

Everytime We Touch- Cascada: This is from my crazy manic "dance mode" this week. Being told I can't drive till the "dizzy" feeling goes away was a HUGE downer...

Where Is The Love- Black Eyed Peas (Ft. Justin Timberlake): I've always like this song, and Junior was grooving to it yesterday too.

No Woman, No Cry - Bob Marley: This one is one that my son loves. He "squirms" everytime it comes on my iTunes.

My Immortal- Evanescence: This is purely an emotional pick for me. Too many reasons to list. I like the song, but I picked it more for the emotional reasons then anything else.

Hard Knock Life - Dr. Evil and Mini Me mix: Okay so I wanted to throw something funny in there for those of you crazies who listen to my playlists at work ;) And who doesn't like Dr. Evil?

New York Minute - Eagles: Another "squirm" inducer for Jr. Atleast his musical tastes are improving!!!

Somebody to Love - Jefferson Airplane: We were in a 60's groove earlier this week... what can I say?

Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley: You can't ever have to much Bob Marley. The kid likes him!

Beautiful Disaster - Kelly Clarkson: Okay so she's the only AI person (other than Jordan Sparks) that I listen to. Bite me. This is more about my overal pregnancy - the end result is going to be beautiful - How could it not?! but the ride in the middle has been anything but beautiful.

The Riddle (You and I) - Five For Fighting: This is a good song. I like all the Five for Fighting stuff I've heard. If you really listen to the Lyrics.. makes you think a little.

I Wanna Be Like You - Jungle Book: Okay so I was bored yesterday while folding clothes and watched this. Jr moved like crazy while this was playing. Besides who doesn't like King Louie? If you don't... you live under a rock.

Home - Marc Broussard: Our jazz/bluegrass moment of the week. Catchy beat... Jr likes it I think more for the mellow undertones despite the upswing tone it's got.

Far Away - Nickelback: Okay so this song is several things: My shot out to friends far away (like Iraq - or those headed there), a song I listened to alot when Chris was deployed last time (it was my ringtone while he was gone) and Jr likes it - I think because I sing along with it every time I hear it.
